IFFCO, short for the Indian Farmers Fertiliser
Cooperative Limited, is amongst the country’s largest cooperative societies,
which is wholly owned by the Indian cooperatives. It was founded in 1967 with
only 57 cooperatives. At this time, IFFCO comprises of a total of 36,000 Indian
Cooperatives that have diverse business interests, such as Rural Telecom,
